General Rules

↠ Abyssal power↠ Weapons of choice: Abyssal power and manifestations, himself, polearm↠ Rerir's body is fractured. Through each of these "fractures" peeks raw, Abyssal power and any wounds he sustains produce a similar thing.↠ Rerir's left eye is missing. Based on various pieces of information from himself, item descriptions and other characters, it is assumed that his left eye and his left arm at the least (which was initially missing before his new body was created) were taken by Rhinedottir and used in her alchemy to replace the missing limbs of Surtalogi's body.↠ Once he regains his full power, the fractures and missing parts of his new body will be restored.

Relevant wikia information:↠ Unlike the other members of the Five Sinners, who were all high-ranking and ambitious members of Khaenri'ahn society, Rerir was a normal man serving as an intelligence officer under King Irmin. He had a girlfriend, Tholindis, who he had proposed marriage to but who had not yet accepted his proposal.↠ Seeing that Rerir wished to protect Tholindis at all costs, Vedrfolnir advised Rerir to persevere against everything that fate would throw at him before warning him of monsters attacking the Universitas Magistrorum. When he found Tholindis, she told him that she had learned of his secret and entered a mysterious portal to another world. Before she left, she gave him a hint to wait for their normal life together. This left Rerir in despair, and he partook of the Abyss's powers along with the other Sinners, hoping to use those powers to find Tholindis.↠ Ever since then, Rerir acquired an unnatural fixation bordering on obsession with the moons beyond the False Sky.↠ His end goal is to hear Tholindis' answer to his question, having never received her answer to his proposal before she cast herself into the moon gate.

Back Story

This is an alternative universe take on Rerir, as such most of the information below will focus on headcanons and the AU information for this account. This section may not be spoiler free like the rest of this carrd so read ahead at your own risk!

Relevant Wikia Information

At some point after the cataclysm, Rerir formed The Wild Hunt and seemingly fell into the "moon's reflection," considered to be a point of no return. As a result of his disappearance, the Wild Hunt began to grow out of control. Rerir ultimately survived thanks to the transcendent abyssal power he had acquired with the other Sinners, though his physical body was destroyed in the process and scattered across Nod-Krai as if hurled into the swirling chaos of time itself, becoming the terrors of the Wild Hunt. With his will still intact, Rerir managed to bring some of these components together to form an incoherent, phantom form of himself. His main component, the heart, ended up in Flins' lantern.Rerir would search for fragments of his power across various Wild Hunt sites, though they did not have the power he sought. He then learned of the Traveler's arrival and managed to take on the appearance of various people, including the Traveler's Sibling. He additionally sought the Moon Marrow, but this was foiled when Vilemina took it first for the Fatui, since he could not grab it himself as a phantom. He later attempted to confront them in his phantom form on Starsand Shoal, but was forced to retreat after a short battle.Realizing that he could use the power of kuuvahki to restore his original form as his abyssal power far surpassed it, Rerir proceeded to abduct the Lightkeeper Sousi, using his form in order to convince the Traveler to repair Aino's Boom and Blast Kuuvakhi Cannon and later taking on Flins's form to murder Sousi. He later had the cannon aimed at himself on Starsand Shoal to restore his form. The Traveler and Flins confronted him, where he stated that humans couldn't comprehend the powers they used, but admitted that it would allow him to return. As the cannon fired on them, the Traveler and Flins were able to divert some of the incoming fire while Ineffa had to manually lift the cannon to redirect it. Despite their efforts, Rerir managed to restore his physical form, but was enraged after discovering that he had only restored part of his power and attacked the duo. Sandrone and Pulonia arrived and battled him, though he managed to overpower the automaton. Before he could finish them off, Columbina teleported them away. After the encounter, Rerir traversed through a cavern near Starsand Shoal (the cavern where the Traveler and their sibling's spaceship landed), though he quickly realized that someone was following him and told them to reveal themselves. The person revealed themselves to be Varka. Varka and several Knights ambushed him, but Rerir easily overpowered them and forced them to retreat.Rerir would continue wandering Nod-Krai to absorb more kuuvakhi, eventually confronting Columbina and overwhelming her, the Traveler, Lauma and Flins with ease. Despite his efforts, they were able to escape his grasp, much to his irritation. Pursuing Columbina, he eventually arrived at the Kuuvahki Experimental Design Bureau after sensing her there. However, when he arrived, she had just left, prompting him to lose interest in fighting the Fatui and leave. Sandrone, who sought revenge for their previous fights, sent Pulonia after him, but he quickly incapacitated it in a single strike. When Nefer was reading Rerir's memories using a magical chess set, he was alerted and attempted to trap Nefer in an illusion of her own past. However, she broke free using Alice's pendant acquired from Dori and was able to seal Rerir within the chess set. She predicted that the seal would only last for two days.Once the seal broke, Rerir battled the Traveler, Nefer, Flins, Lauma and Aino, expelling the latter three during the middle of their fight. Angered that Nefer had looked into his past, Rerir stated that she had known too much and prepared to finish her off, unaware that she had been stalling for time. Since fighting him head-on would prove pointless, Albedo decided to siphon his power to Columbina, with Durin acting as a conduit to convert his abyssal power. Upon noticing the alchemical symbol surrounding the Traveler and Nefer, Rerir was amused to learn that a student of Rhinedottir had joined the fight. Columbina was able to fight him on more equal terms, during which he remarked that she was using his power against him. She then restrained him and opened a gate beyond the sky. Believing she was not powerful enough to maintain both at once, Columbina told him that "someone else" did and flicked him into it. Before he was thrown out of Teyvat, Rerir caught a glimpse of Dainsleif holding the gate open, which shocked him.

Alternate Universe Information

This section will be updated over time as I go.

After being cast out of Teyvat, Rerir flew into a fitful rage and razed the world he had been thrown into and used what little power he could absorb from it to create another gate in an attempt to return. What was likely months passed before Rerir finally amassed enough power and knowledge to rip open a gate back into the Abyss itself, where he remained to consume any Abyssal entities to replenish his spent power.Once he deemed his body worthy enough, he returned in secret to Nod-Krai to collect his remaining body fragments from within the Wild Hunts manifestations.Learning of the Abyss Order through a mage he ripped apart during his collections, Rerir now hunts down its members to restore his power, finding that former Khaenri'ahns are far more sufficient than simple Abyssal creatures (unless they were designed by Surtalogi). At this time, Rerir has managed to amass roughly fifty percent (50%) of his former power through his consumption of the members of the Abyss Order, though in his desire for vengeance against Dainsleif and those responsible for getting in his way, he has learned to be far more clandestine despite his continued mental instability.Rerir is highly paranoid and in a constant state of "fight, flight or freeze" - though it is important to note he will choose fight every time these days.He still desires to find Tholindis to demand she give him an answer, though his focus has shifted primarily to Dainsleif at this time. His apparent obsessive nature around his current "fixation" is fuelled by his near constant state of mania. His long lasting manic episodes (for lack of a better term) are primarily triggered by the torment and trauma of his life - being forced to kill others in Khaenri'ah (including young children), losing Tholindis, being torn apart by Rhinedottir for Surtalogi, being manipulated and misled by Vedrfolnir and overall toll on his mental state from his Abyssal power and being torn apart by the moon gate he ultimately jumped through to find Tholindis - more recently his loss at the hands of the Traveller and co.

Some general things to keep in mind when interacting with my Rerir. This may be updated as I see a need for it.↠ This is an alternative universe take on Rerir, as such I will be taking a few creative liberties.↠ Heavy themes regarding mental health issues will be present with Rerir, including but not limited to; manic episodes, severe depression and anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, post traumatic stress disorder etc.↠ Other heavy and dark themes can and will be present including but not limited to; murder, torture, execution, self harm, cannibalism etc.↠ Given Rerir's history with others, he does not trust anyone and likely never will unless they manage to break through all of his mania and paranoia induced walls.↠ Earning his trust comes with a host of new issues such as new paranoia's regarding this person, an obsessive need to keep them in his line of sight at all times that may result in stalker like behaviour, violence aimed at others if he perceives a threat against this person, needing this person close at all times for various reasons such as his own need to feel safe, know where they are and so he can relax.↠ Additionally, as a result of Rerir's past, he does not like being touched. The deeper into a manic episode he is, the more opposed to touch he is.↠ He is not always out of touch with reality. His more lucid, calmer moments are when he is most dangerous.↠ He hallucinates quite often. This contributes to his loss of touch with reality and the world around him.↠ Though he is simply a manifestation of raw, Abyssal power, his body is solid and anatomically correct in all aspects. He is capable of feeling what is done to his body, but as his level of detachment varies, so to does his numbness to various sensations like pain, pleasure, etc.↠ Though in a fairly consistent state of rage most times, Rerir is capable of being calm, rational and reasonable. He is highly intelligent, but his mania can make him appear like some manner of mindless beast.↠ Rerir will never refer to himself as human despite his attempts to appear as such. He loathes what he has become in his search for Tholindis but feels it is fitting of both the monster he felt he was back in Khaenri'ah and the monster he is now.↠ Despite being one of the Five Sinners of Khaenri'ah, given the right motivation, patience, understanding and devotion into helping him see the truth of things (such as Tholindis potentially being dead), Rerir has the potential to become a very powerful ally of the Traveller and their companions.

↠ I am caught up with most canon material and will look up information on anything I am not familiar with.↠ I will be taking a few creative liberties with my muses at times, but I will do my utmost to remain as true to the characters as possible.
↠ AUs for the accounts, if applicable, are listed in their respective carrds/pinned tweets.
↠ Literate and descriptive (most of the time)
↠ Crack and banter are welcome but longer, more detailed threads are preferred.
↠ I will often try to mirror your replies but sometimes I might make mine a little longer. Please do not feel like you have to match my length at all times. I just want to see some effort!
↠ Mature 21+ for occasional NSFW content including but not limited to: violence, language, lewd and other potentially triggering themes.↠ Open to most crossovers, original characters and AU's but I would like to be able to read some information before we interact!↠ Multi-Verse (MV) and Multi-Ship (MS) - highly selective with ships - ships will only be done with chemistry, even if I know you from another verse.↠ Shipping wise, I am not necessarily looking to ship Rerir with anyone at this time however, it is not entirely out of the question with the right chemistry.↠ I personally do not ship him with Flins nor do I really think he and Tholidnis truly had a healthy relationship that would last. Where Tholindis is concerned, only one I really intend to explore anything with is a friends should I consider it.↠ I DO enjoy the idea of him with Varka but I am incredibly selective when it comes to this sort of thing and again, there must be a lot of chemistry.↠ While I will write NSFW, that does not mean I am explicitly looking to write lewd all the time. If you're here expecting that, I'm sorry to disappoint but this is not the Rerir for you.No, you will not get the "yandere BDSM daddy" here.--Please DO:↠ Feel free to tag me any time! I may not always see it/respond right away, but I try to reply to stuff as much as I can.↠ Give me information about your AU/Original character to read. I do not live in your head.↠ Ask me if you're not sure about something, even if it's about something ooc. I'm not going to bite you.↠ Understand I work full time so my time/energy is going to be very limited sometimes.↠ Keep in mind I have ADHD, depression and anxiety so sometimes I might not have a response in me, might not have the energy for one or I might have gotten sidetracked and forgotten. It's nothing personal!--Please do NOT:↠ Follow me expecting to ship/write nsfw lewd; even if we know each other from other verses.↠ Attempt to force ships/unwelcome content on me.↠ Force your headcanons on my portrayal; just because we write the same muse does not mean they have to be EXACTLY the same. This goes for people that expect me to write my portrayal according to how they view the character even if you don't write the same muse as I do.↠ Control my muse ("God mod").↠ If you are under the age of 18, do not interact with my nsfw lewd tweets.--I do NOT:↠ Ship with minors/minor muses.↠ Some ships do make me uncomfortable and as such I will generally not write them just as there are some I'm not entirely sure about. I would have to explore with the right person.
